The
Gallery, Spatterdock's newest guesthouse is a splendid
Caddo Lake retreat, spaciously featuring 3 relaxing bedrooms,
2 and a half baths, a large and comfortable living area, modern
kitchen and a long, peaceful screened porch.

Living area
Formerly housing
Mossy Brake Art Gallery, the studio and gallery of well-known
artist, JoAnne Imhof, The Gallery retains the
artistic spirit with paintings of Imhof,* and other artists, displayed
throughout. A magical wall mural depicting the lush flora and
whimsical fauna, stained glass and tile mosaics accentuate the
aesthetic feeling of this guesthouse.

Kitchen
The flair
for creativity continues outside in The Gallery Garden,
where a collage of bright mosaic stepping stones wind their way
through a variety of lush ferns and entertaining statuary.

The spacious
screened porch
The
Gallery accommodates 6, with 3 bedrooms, 2 and a half
baths, one with a claw foot bathtub, mosaic tile mural and an
outside shower. (There is an inside shower for the faint of heart!)
Guests at
The Gallery and The Rookery
are welcome to enjoy the long ambling "Lost Dog Walk"
pier, that winds its way over the waters of Caddo, through a stand
of giant, moss-shrouded Cypress to the Taylor Island stretch of
the old river channel. (See amenities page.)
Outdoor cooking,
bicycles, and canoes are provided for guests
Combined,
by inside stairway, with The Rookery,
(the upper story), this facility can comfortably accommodate 12
to 14 guests, and is ideal for family gatherings, groups of artists,
photographers, etc, or small corporate conferences.
*Most of the paintings of Joann Imhof can be purchased. She also has work on display in Jefferson, TX, at Imhof Gallery.

same as all of the Spatterdock Guest Houses.
